So, Trent and I have been very grateful that Emily hasn't ever really tried to climb out of the crib. Well, today she tried and succeeded. I laid her down for her nap and went to put away some laundry. The next thing we know there is a loud thud...a half cry....and then silence. Trent and I both ran into her bedroom and sure enough, she was laying on the floor. We decided it was time to lower her crib mattress and while we were at it, we change it to a "transitional bed". She doesn't seem to really like it though. She just cried herself to sleep and I doubt that she is even in her bed.
